Siraj David Murray, President of the Sufi Circle in Canada, presented The Living Altar, developed under the guidance of Pir-o-Murshid Hidayat Inayat-Khan during retreats at Lake O'Hara, Canada.
This presentation touches on the origins of the Universal Worship service in the 1920s, the exploration of the sacred Universal Worship geometry that was put into motion by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan himself and the wonderful experimentation on the Sufi Message that was experienced with Pir-o-Murshid Hidayat in this magical place.
The attached documents (below) provide detailed insight into the sacred geometry and mystical interpretation of the Universal Worship.

The emblem of the Sufis there is a heart; it is the sign that from the heart a stream rises, the stream of divine knowledge. My Blessed Mureeds,
The relation that exists between Murshid and mureed is so subtle and so delicate that only a few persons can understand it. For the one who does not know it, it is nothing; and for the one who knows it, it is everything. The light of the stars and planets, which we see, IS in accordance with the light that they responds to. The Relationship Between Will Power and God Power
In the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan: Will is not [merely] 'a power', but it is all the power there is. Therefore, what we call 'will power' in us is in reality 'God power,' a power that increases by our recognizing its potentiality and proves to be the greatest phenomenon in life.

In The Words Of Hazrat Inayat Khan: The secret of mysticism, the mystery of philosophy, all is to be attained after the attainment of peace. You cannot refuse to recognize the divine in a person who is a person of peace. It is not the talkative, it is not the argumentative one, who proves to be wise. He may have intellect, worldly wisdom, and yet may not have pure intelligence, which is real wisdom. True wisdom is to be found in the peaceful.
